Day 1 – BUENOS AIRES: Tango Spirit
Arrive in Buenos Aires in the morning. In the afternoon, immerse yourself in the world of tango with a visit to one of the city’s iconic cafés. In the early 20th century, tango musicians and dancers would gather in bars and cafés to create and share this vibrant new music. One of the most emblematic tango venues in Buenos Aires is the Café de los Angelitos, opened in 1890. It was here that musicians and poets came together to shape the tango, often performing their latest creations for eager audiences.

Day 2 – BUENOS AIRES: Discovering Tango
Explore the neighbourhood of La Boca, widely regarded as the birthplace of Tango. In the early 20th century, sailors, immigrants and local workers created this passionate dance, which came alive in the streets and milongas. Local cafés became gathering points for Tango musicians and dancers, while the lyrics often reflected the hardships and melancholy of La Boca’s residents. In the afternoon, take a private Tango class to get into the rhythm and experience the dance firsthand.
In the evening, enjoy a Tango show at Café Tortoni, a historic venue that opened in 1858 and quickly became a meeting place for intellectuals and artists, including Jorge Luis Borges and Carlos Gardel. In 1915, Roberto Firpo’s Tango orchestra performed there publicly for the first time, marking a milestone in the history of Tango.

In the evening, dine at the peña “El Boliche de Roberto”, a bar and restaurant where spontaneous singing and Tango performances bring the music to life.

Day 6 – BUENOS AIRES: Colonia del Sacramento – URUGUAY
Early departure (07:30) to take the ferry to Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay, a charming city known for its colonial architecture, cobbled streets, and adobe houses. Explore the Old Town, the lighthouse, Plaza de Toros, and the Portuguese Museum. Return to Buenos Aires at 19:00.

Día 7 – BUENOS AIRES: Milonga
Free monring.

Day 8 – BUENOS AIRES – PUERTO IGUAZÚ
Transfer to the airport for the flight Buenos Aires 12:05 → 13:55 Iguazú. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel. Afternoon at leisure.

Day 9 – IGUAÇU: BRASILIAN SIDE OF THE FALLS

DAY 10 – IGUAZÚ: ARGENTINEAN SIDE OF THE FALLS
